Body found in car at base of cliffs on South Australian coast

A man's body has been located in the wreckage of a car found at the base of Cape Bauer on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula.

The upside down car was spotted on a shallow reef shelf just before 12pm on Sunday.

Police divers found a man's body inside the vehicle, which was severely damaged by the fall.

A recovery operation for the car will resume in the morning.
