Cannabis found in SA truck cargo

Police say they found 12 kilograms of cannabis packed in vacuum sealed bags when they pulled over a truck on a South Australian highway.

The semi-trailer was stopped on the Sturt Highway at Daveyston about 8am on Saturday.

The truck driver has been charged with trafficking a commercial amount of cannabis.

The 45-year-old man from Parafield Gardens was bailed to appear in court on December 7.
