Budget scrutiny cut in SA

The South Australian government is trying to limit scrutiny of the state budget by cutting the time allocated for questions during committee hearings in parliament, the state opposition says.

Estimates Committee hearings begin on Thursday with last year almost 62 hours allocated to questions.

But Opposition Leader Steven Marshall says only about 55 hours has been allocated this year.
