Badly burnt Adelaide drive-in to reopen

Adelaide's last drive-in cinema will reopen on Friday just two days after someone ram-raided the property and set it alight, its owners have revealed.

The Mainline Drive-In at Gepps Cross went up in flames early on Wednesday, with police believing someone used a car to break into the cinema and steal an ATM before starting the blaze.

The ATM was located soon after in the tray of a stolen ute that was found burning in a nearby suburb, and police say investigations are ongoing.
