Arson destroys Adelaide house

A fire which destroyed an Adelaide house overnight was deliberately lit, police say.

Emergency services found the Davoren Park house well alight when they were called to the scene in the early hours of Tuesday.

Police say the house was vacant, as the occupant had recently moved out.

"Fire cause investigators attended the scene overnight and have determined the fire was deliberately lit by someone who gained entry to the premises through a rear door," police said in a statement.
