Armed men charged over SA home invasion

Two men armed with knives have assaulted a man after forcing their way inside an Adelaide home.

The suspects, 29 and 30, pushed past a resident who answered the door, assaulted a man, threatened others and stole mobile phones before jumping a fence on Sunday afternoon, police say.

Two men who were arrested nearby, were refused bail to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrate Court on Monday charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, aggravated assault and theft.

Police say the people involved in the incident are known to each other and it was not a random attack.
