Ammonia scare in Adelaide Hills

Three hazardous materials crews have rushed to a cold store at Kersbrook in the Adelaide Hills after a strong smell of ammonia was reported.

The Country Fire Service sent in eight HAZMAT specialists and 14 firefighters on Saturday evening to Cold Stores on the South Para Road which has been blocked by police as the incident is dealt with.

Motorists have been advised to seek alternative routes.
