Adelaide mother critical after vicious assault at home
A woman is fighting for life in hospital after a serious assault at Seacliff Park in Adelaide's south today.
Emergency services were called to the Davenport Terrace home just before midday.
They found the 59-year-old woman inside the property with life-threatening injuries, and rushed her to Flinders Medical Centre.

Meanwhile, the woman's alleged attacker – believed to be her son- fled the scene.
Detectives found the 33-year-old accused about an hour after the incident, and arrested him near Seacliff Yacht Club.
He was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital to be medically assessed.
Charges are yet to be laid.
