Adelaide teen caught after car chase

A 14-year-old boy will appear in an Adelaide court on Tuesday following a car chase with police which had to be called off for safety reasons.

The teenager is accused of trying to outrun officers in Modbury North on Monday afternoon with two 14-year-old girls in the stolen vehicle.

He has been charged with illegally using a motor vehicle, driving dangerously to evade police, driving unlicensed and breaching bail.

One of his passengers, a 16-year-old Noarlunga Downs girl, has been charged with carrying an offensive weapon and the other, a 15-year-old girl from Andrews Farm, has been charged with breaching bail.
