Adelaide shop arsonist sets leg on fire

A bumbling arsonist has set himself on fire as he tried to torch a group of Adelaide shops.

CCTV footage shows two men outside the shops in Old Reynella, in Adelaide's south, early on Monday morning.

One less than bright spark pours accelerant on the premises and ignites it, not expecting the explosion that follows.

The man is then seen running from the fire and rolling on the ground with his leg and foot ablaze.

The pair remain at large and police are appealing to the public for information.
