Prosecutors have been given until October to prepare witness statements and declarations in the case against two men charged over an 11-hour siege in Adelaide.

The two men, including one who was shot and wounded by police, faced court on Tuesday charged over a tense police stand-off that took place at a real estate office on East Terrace in June.

Stephen Guy Mann and Anthony David Busuttil, both 41, appeared from prison via videolink for committal proceedings over the incident at Adelaide Magistrates Court.

The siege began after two men were spotted on the roof of the office before dawn on June 13.

Parts of Adelaide's central business district were closed off as heavily armed tactical police surrounded the building.

More than five hours into negotiations bullets were fired and Mann was shot in the upper chest and taken to hospital.

Busuttil was found in an office hours later after police swept the building and surrounding areas.

The pair are facing a string of charges over the incident including serious criminal trespass and possessing a loaded firearm.

Mann and Busuttil will return to court on October 13 for declarations in the case.

The court also heard that a third person, a woman named Rebecca Gray, has been arrested over an incident connected to the two men.
