Adelaide man in hot water over alleged 'eskypade' atop motorised esky

A South Australian man will face court after his alleged "eskypade" through Adelaide streets was put on ice by police.
The 26-year-old Para Hills West man was twice stopped by police after allegedly being spotted riding a motorised esky.
The man was initially stopped by a SA Police motorcycle officer when he was seen driving the "unregistered" cooler in a shopping centre car park at about 6.45pm yesterday, and was advised it could not be legally driven on roads.
However, a short time later the officer saw the man driving the machine on Northcote Drive, Para Hills.
Police will allege that further checks showed that the driver did not have a driver's licence, nor was the "vehicle" registered or insured.
It was also impounded.
The rider was reported for driving unlicensed, and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
The motorised esky is described as a novelty import and cannot be legally registered in South Australia and cannot be driven on roads.
