A man and a woman have been charged with attempted murder after an early morning shooting in Adelaide's south.

Two people were shot at a home in Huntfield Heights before 6.40am yesterday.

A 43-year-old man was wounded in the abdomen, whilst a 24-year-old woman was wounded in the arm.

They were treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to hospital, though their injuries were not life-threatening.

Police believe the shooting was targeted.

Two people were arrested, a 30-year-old man from Ottoway and a 40-year-old woman from Glenside.

They have both been charged with two counts of attempted murder, while the man was also hit with multiple charges on firearms offences.

The pair were refused bail and will appear in front of Christies Beach Magistrates Court today.
