$1.5m of farm, transport equipment stolen

A man has allegedly stolen $1.5 million of farm and transport equipment from South Australia and Queensland over the course of a decade.

A car racing trailer and an earth moving machine were part of an almost $1 million haul seized after a lengthy SA and QLD police operation.

The 50-year-old Adelaide Hills suspect was this week caught with eight semi-trailers and other goods worth more than $500,000 at his property.

He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on April 1 charged with 12 counts of theft.
