SA Police search for prison escapee Jake Devenney-Gill
Jake Devenney-Gill escaped from the low security section of Yatala Prison. SA Police
Police in South Australia are searching for a prisoner who escaped from low-security custody last night.
Officers are currently searching the Northfield and Valley View areas for Jake Devenney-Gill, who managed to escape from low-security cottages at the Adelaide Pre-Release Centre.
The 26-year-old was last seen running north of the prison just before 8pm.
Devenney-Gill is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 170cm tall, has a slim build with blonde hail and a rats tail.
He was last seen wearing black shorts and a blue t-shirt or singlet.
Devenney-Gill is not to believed to be armed or considered dangerous to the public, but police ask the public to not approach him and instead call the police assistance line on 131 444 or Triple Zero.
