One man dead after boat sinks in South Australia
A man has died and another is seriously injured after the boat they were in sunk in South Australia last night.
Onlookers raised the alarm to emergency services shortly after 6:14pm last night when a 4.5m fibreglass boat suffered engine trouble and crashed into rocks at the southern Outer Harbour breakwater.

Both occupants onboard, a 77-year-old man and a 66-year-old man, were thrown into the water upon impact.
SA Police dispatched a helicopter to the area, spotting both men in the water soon after the accident.
One man, the 66-year-old from Smithfield Plains, was winched to safety and taken to Royal Adelaide Hospital with chest injuries.

Tragically the 77-year-old man was unable to be resuscitated and was pronounced dead.
Police Water Operations members retrieved his body and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
