Robert and Anne Geeves found not guilty of murdering missing teenager Amber Haigh
A retired married couple have been found not guilty of murdering 19-year-old mum Amber Haigh, who disappeared more than two decades ago from regional NSW.
Robert and Anne Geeves, both 64, will walk free after Justice Julia Lonergan acquitted the pair today following a lengthy judge-only trial in the Supreme Court at Wagga Wagga.
The pair were arrested and charged with murder in 2022 after a cold case reward over Haigh's death was increased to $1 million.

Amber Haigh vanished in 2002. Nine
Haigh, who had an intellectual disability, had been living at the Geeves' home in Harden before she vanished.
She was last seen at her flat in a nearby town on June 2, 2002.
Medical experts and family evidence shared in court had shown Haigh, someone with the mental capacity of a 12 or 13-year-old, could have been easily led by others.
The Geeves have always maintained their innocence in the teenager's disappearance.
