Violent brawl at kids' event at Sydney greyhound track caught on camera

Dozens of people have been involved in a brawl in front of children at a greyhound track in Sydney's north-west.

The fight at Richmond broke out on a night advertised for kids to go and meet Santa.

In video of the fight, a single person runs from a violent scene playing out off-camera before a group of men come tumbling into view.

They can be seen tackling each other to the ground and throwing punches at Richmond Race Club in Londonderry, five days before Christmas.

Witnesses run or back away as the brawling group spreads.

Security leads one man away and the fight starts to slowly die down.

Some walk away and others check on an injured man, lying on the ground.

He was taken to Nepean Hospital in a stable condition with a head injury.

The event was billed as a "kids party" - with entertainment, food and gifts.

The night ended with police speaking to at least three men aged in their 20s and 30s.

No charges have been laid.
