A West Coast Eagles young gun has been accused of urinating in public at a music festival.

The club this afternoon confirmed the charge against 20-year-old midfielder Reuben Ginbey, stemming from Saturday's Wildlands music festival in Perth.

Police allege the 2023 AFL Rising Star nominee and Eagles Emerging Talent winner also failed to comply with directions to give his personal details.
