Patients in the dark after cyberattack forces closure of radiology clinic
Patients of a radiology clinic in western Sydney say they have been left in the dark as a cyberattack caused the business to temporarily close.
Quantum Radiology has 10 practices across Sydney, which have all been closed since last Thursday.
Customers like David Montgomery say their appointments were cancelled without explanation.

"For eight days, this has been going on and we still don't know," Montgomery told 9News.
A spokesperson for Quantum Radiology confirmed in a statement to 9News the business had been the victim of a cyberattack and was dealing with police and cybersecurity experts.
9News understands customers have not been informed of the issue as they were told the closure was due to an "unforeseen IT issue".
It is not clear if personal medical information has been compromised in the hack.
Hundreds of patients will not be able to access their scans or medical results while the radiology business remains closed.
