Woman hurt in drive-by mugging in Qld

A woman has suffered facial injuries in a drive-by mugging in Brisbane.

Police say two bandits drove up beside the 54-year-old as she walked along a street at Acacia Ridge just before 6pm on Tuesday.

One of the men leapt out, hit her in the head and stole her handbag before fleeing in the vehicle. The woman was treated in hospital for facial injuries.
