Woman dies after breaking up pub fight

A woman who tried to break up a fight outside a pub in a tiny outback Queensland town has died from head injuries.
The 55-year-old woman died in the Townsville Hospital on Monday afternoon after trying to intervene in a scuffle between two men at the Aramac Hotel in Aramac, near Longreach, on Saturday night.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
