Murder charge after Gold Coast shooting

A woman accused of shooting a man dead near a Gold Coast school will have her case heard in domestic violence court.

Linda Annette Currie, 48, had her murder charge mentioned in the Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday, a day after she allegedly shot a 43-year-old man in a house opposite the Labrador State School.

Her case will next be heard in Southport's dedicated domestic and family violence court on September 13.
