Ute driver dead after collision with truck

A man has been killed after the ute he was driving collided with a truck near Toowoomba.

The driver of the ute was rushed to hospital after the accident outside Westbrook on Tuesday night, but died a short time later.

His female passenger was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries while the truck driver suffered minor injuries.
