Ute collides with a truck carrying house

A ute has collided with an oversized truck transporting a house north of Brisbane.
The crash occurred shortly after 3am Friday at Curra on the Bruce Highway, near Gympie.
A man driving his ute south collided with the wide-load truck, which was being escorted by police.

The driver of the ute was taken to Gympie Hospital in a serious condition.
The highway remains closed.
