Trio nabbed over $3m ice syndicate

Three men have been arrested over an alleged multi-million dollar ice trafficking ring in southeast Queensland.

Luke Perrett, 36, Brad Matthew Watt, 40, and Adam Charles Alexander Johns, 34, appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday on charges of drug trafficking and possession.

It's alleged they trafficked about $3 million worth of methylamphetamine between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast over a one-year period.

The trio has been charged under Queensland's Vicious Lawless Associate Disestablishment laws, which were set up to target bikies.

However, it's not alleged they belong to an outlaw motorcycle gang.

They were remanded in custody, with Perrett and Watt to apply for bail on July 7 and Johns on July 9.
