Trio burnt in north Qld gas bottle blast

Two adults and a teenage girl have serious burns to their face and chest after a gas bottle exploded in far north Queensland.
A man and woman, aged in their 40s, and a 16-year-old girl were on the esplanade at Rocky Point north of Cairns when the accident happened on Monday night.
The trio were taken to the Cairns Base Hospital with the older woman suffering burns to 20 per cent of her body.
