Toddler nearly drowns at Qld home

A 19-month-old girl is in hospital after nearly drowning at a Brisbane home.
The toddler swallowed a large amount of water but was conscious when paramedics arrived at the Murarrie house around 11am on Monday, a Queensland Ambulance spokesman said.
She was taken to Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in a stable condition.
