The foster mother of slain Brisbane schoolgirl Tiahleigh Palmer will be sentenced in November for perjury and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Julene Thorburn, 55, was on Thursday ordered to face a sentencing hearing at Beenleigh District Court on November 3.

Thorburn's eldest son Joshua was jailed for three months in July after pleading guilty to the same charges.

The body of 12-year-old Tiahleigh was found on the banks of a Gold Coast river on November 5, 2015, several days after police allege she was murdered by her foster father Rick Thorburn at the family's Chambers Flat home.

Police allege Julene Thorburn repeatedly lied to as part of a secret family pact to cover up what had happened to Tiahleigh.

Rick Thorburn was charged last year with murder and interfering with a corpse, while the couple's youngest son Trent has been charged with incest, perjury and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
