Teen crashes car into Qld home

A Gold Coast woman got the fright of her life when a teenager ploughed a car into her home.

Police say a 19-year-old man lost control of the car which mounted a footpath, crashed through a gate, hit a parked four-wheel-drive and slammed into three metal supports on Wednesday night.

The high-set house ended up resting on the front of the Holden Commodore.

The driver, his passenger and the occupant of the Mudgeeraba house all escaped injury.
