Teen charged over Brisbane park bashing

A 16-year-old boy has been charged over the brutal bashing of a man in Brisbane's Botanic Gardens.

The 21-year-old victim suffered serious facial injuries when he was attacked for failing to hand over his belongings to two bandits who confronted him on Monday night.

The boy has been charged with grievous bodily harm and robbery in company and will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act. The hunt for the second offender continues.
