A sixth greyhound trainer has been banned from the sport for taking part in live-baiting practices.

Racing Queensland announced on Friday it has warned off Michael Chapman from all race tracks for animal cruelty offences.

The state's racing body let off a second trainer, Greg Stella, due to a lack of evidence of animal cruelty.

"Stewards could not find sufficient evidence to sustain charges against Mr Stella for improper training practices in relation to animal cruelty," the statement said.

The men were among 23 trainers who were suspended from taking part in the sport after ABC's Four Corners program exposed the use of live bait, such as piglets and possums, to train competitive greyhounds.

Two of those trainers have also been charged with animal cruelty, with the cases currently before the courts.
