Six people, including two babies, have been injured in a boat accident in southeast Queensland.

A 59-year-old woman has head injuries and a broken arm and two 11-month old babies are bruised, a QAS spokeswoman told AAP.

A 60-year-old man has a knee injury, an 84-year-old woman has a small cut and a 33-year-old man has a cut finger.

The QAS said a 34-year-old woman, who was also on board, has no obvious injuries.

The ambulance service said there were a couple of crews at the scene and they were still working out how to transport the patients.
