Shot man hands himself in to Qld police

A man who fled after being shot during a fight in north Queensland has handed himself in to police.

Police expressed concerns for 27-year-old Craig Fleming after they found a significant amount of blood at an apartment in Railway Estate, Townsville, where yelling and shots were heard on Sunday night.

On Tuesday, police said he'd handed himself in to police on Monday night, suffering an ankle injury. They said no further comment would be made at this stage.
