Serial Qld thief robs half-built homes

A Brisbane man has been charged with breaking into more than a dozen half-built homes on the Sunshine Coast.
Police charged the 38-year-old on Monday afternoon with 19 counts of break and entering, and 17 other counts, alleging he targeted homes in Caloundra West over the past six months.
Police found a mower, whipper snipper, pool robot, pool pump, power tools, hand tools, laser levels and bicycles during a search in a home from a neighbouring suburb.

The man will appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on May 25.
