Search for man after NQ car, home shot

A man wanted for questioning over shots fired at a car and home in north Queensland could be armed, police say.

Officers are looking for 25-year-old Jaimie Madden after the car was fired upon in the Townsville suburb of Kirwan early on Monday morning.

They say a house in the same suburb was also shot at sometime between November 27 and November 30.

The Bohle Plains man is believed to be travelling in a 2008 Silver Kia Rio with Queensland registration 644MAF.

Police say he is Caucasian, 165cm tall with a strong build, brown hair and blue eyes.

Members of the public are urged not to approach him if sighted and to ring triple zero.
