Schoolies charged over Gold Coast attack

Two schoolies have been charged over a violent Gold Coast fight that's left a third teenager in an induced coma.
The 18-year-old victim was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital overnight in a critical condition.
He suffered serious head injuries in a midnight fight with two NSW schoolies at Cavill Avenue, in the heart of the schoolies party precinct.

The two schoolies charged over the assault will front the Southport Magistrates Court on Friday.
A 17-year-old male is facing a charge of grievous bodily harm and an 18-year-old male is facing two counts of assault.
