School bus catches on fire in Qld

School children have had a lucky escape after the bus they were on caught fire north of Brisbane.

Flames took hold at the rear of the bus about 8am (AEST) on Monday but the driver managed to get all children off safely before firefighters extinguished the blaze.

Paramedics were called but no-one required treatment. Delays remain around Anzac Avenue at Rothwell.
