AAP
Two men allegedly used rocks and a plastic pipe to kill a pair of wallabies on a rural property in Cairns.
Police say the men, aged 18 and 19, used rocks to injure the wallabies before killing them with a PVC pipe last month at White Rock.
A number of people allegedly witnessed the attack about 1pm on September 2.

The men will appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on serious animal cruelty charges next month.
Last November, a wallaby with a joey in its pouch was found dead with an arrow in its hip on a driveway at White Rock. The joey later died.
The area is home to about 1000 wallabies.
