Queensland policeman sacked over sex chat

A senior constable has been fired from the Queensland Police Service for engaging in sexual conversations and using the work computer system without proper reasons.

The 45-year-old man from the south eastern region had previously been suspended from duty in October 2015 pending the outcome of a disciplinary hearing.

Meantime, a 46-year-old senior constable from the central region has been suspended following allegations he intimidated and threatened members of the public and allowed one of them to drive a marked police car.
