‘I dislike him profusely’: Queensland pensioner takes fight to Clive Palmer

A Queensland man has taken on Clive Palmer in court, audaciously attempting to trademark various company titles already used by the billionaire mining magnate and MP.
Michael Farrell, 58, has registered “Palmersaurus” as business name and applied to trademark “Palmer Nickel and Cobalt Refinery”, The Courier-Mail reports.
As a result, Mr Palmer’s attempts to lodge his own businesses with government regulators may be rejected due to their similarity to Mr Farrell’s applications.
Palmersaurus is the name of Mr Palmer’s dinosaur-themed adventure park at his Coolum resort.
The pensioner described his applications as an attempt to unsettle Mr Palmer.
“I dislike Clive Palmer profusely and I just wanted to undertake actions that will put him on the spot,” he said.
Mr Farrell said he would appeal should his trademark application fail.
