Search for crew after catamaran found floating near Hervey Bay

Queensland police are searching for the owner of a catamaran after it was found near Hervey Bay with no one on board.
A member of the public alerted police after it was found floating near the mouth of Beelbi Creek, Toogoom about 4pm yesterday.
"Hervey Bay Water Police inquiries are ongoing however the owner of the catamaran is yet to be identified," Queensland Police said.

It is not known if anyone on board is missing.
