Qld woman slashed with samurai sword

A woman has been slashed in the neck with a samurai sword during an argument in southeast Queensland.
Police say a man and woman were having an argument at a home in the Ipswich suburb of Leichhardt on Monday night when the man "struck the female with an ornamental samurai sword", cutting the woman's neck.
The woman, 24, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the man, 28, was also taken to hospital after sustaining a head injury while being disarmed.
