Qld woman missing after leaving car

Authorities are searching for a woman who was last seen getting out of a vehicle on southeast Queensland highway two days ago.

Police and State Emergency Service crews have been combing land along the Isis Highway, at Cordalba near Childers, for any sign of missing Caboolture woman Tanya Johnston.

The 46-year-old is Caucasian with blonde/brown hair and tattoos on her neck and right upper leg.

She was last seen wearing a strapless tie-dyed red, green and orange dress.
