Qld woman injured after skydiving accident

A skydiver is in a serious condition in a Queensland hospital after she broke multiple bones in a rough landing.

Ambulance officers were called to the Darling Downs town of Tarawera, west of Brisbane, on Wednesday night, where they found a woman in her 20s with multiple lower body fractures and a minor cut to her head.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said she was airlifted to hospital in a "stable but serious condition".
