Qld woman hit after leaving moving car

A Queensland woman has serious head and spinal injuries after she got out of a moving car and was run over by it.

The 32-year-old passenger was injured when she exited the moving car in the Hervey Bay suburb of Wondunna about 5.30am on Sunday.

She was taken to the Hervey Bay Hospital in a critical condition. Police are interviewing a 41-year-man who was at the wheel, and who is known to the woman.
