Qld woman due in court over stabbing

A woman who allegedly stabbed a man in the chest during an argument at a home south of Brisbane is due to appear in court on Monday.

Police were called to a residence on Station Road, Loganlea, in the early hours of Sunday after reports of a disturbance.

Inside, they found 33-year-old man with stab wounds to his chest and arms.

He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane where his condition was listed as critical but stable.

The woman, 24, is expected to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court after being charged with one count of unlawful wounding.
