Qld to see bipartisan planning reform

Queensland's government and the opposition have agreed on a bipartisan approach to reforming planning laws.

State parliament has passed a motion to examine both Labor and the Liberal National Party's planning reform bills at the same time.

"I want to also acknowledge the co-operation from the Deputy Premier (Jackie Trad), in a rare outbreak of bipartisanship in relation to this matter," opposition planning spokesman Tim Nicholls told the house.
