Qld teens in hospital after joyride crash

Two teenage boys are in hospital after allegedly crashing a stolen car during a joyride in Brisbane.

Police allege the pair, both aged 15, stole a car from a home on Brisbane's northside on Sunday, but then crashed it 15 minutes later.

They are both still in hospital, but police have not released details about their condition.

The driver has been charged with two counts of dangerous operation of a vehicle, two counts of dangerous operation of a vehicle causing grievous bodily harm, one count each of burglary and committing an indictable offence, unlicensed driving, and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

His passenger has been charged with two counts each of burglary and committing an indictable offence and unlawful use of motor vehicles.

They will appear in court at a later date.
