Qld teacher facing child porn offences
A Queensland primary school teacher has been charged after detectives allegedly seized more than 7000 pornographic images and clips of children from his home.
The Crime and Corruption Commission says the material was unearthed by investigators when they raided a Ningi property on Tuesday.
The 43-year-old teaches at a school north of Brisbane and is part of extra-curricular groups.
He's been charged with multiple offences, including two counts of possessing child exploitation material.
He was granted bail from Caboolture Watch House on the condition he doesn't have any unsupervised contact with children.
The matter will be heard in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on July 23.
It's understood the Department of Education and Training has been notified of the charges.
